Malfunction in the course of using BI workbook

Hi Gurus,

I have Windows XP SP3, SAP BI 7.00 SP 18 and SAP GUI 7.10. and I have a problem.

A query contains four variables, which have to fill out before the query run.

- When I open the query directly in Excel, everything ok (selection screen opens) but,

- when I open a workbook, which contains this query (only this), the selection screen doesn't open, and the result table of this query suggest a static Excel table. The 'Refresh variables' button doesn't work, if I click on them, nothing happen. In the Extras menu there is no the 'Edit XXXX query' option...

What is the problem? How can I fix that?
