nothing works properly

Hi Friends,

We recently had a server move since that time nothing works properly.

When I start the Web Dynpro application I get the message "the page can not be displayed".

Within Viewdesigner I cant see any UI Component.

Do have an idea why I am getting this trouble ?

Where can I change the URL at tabstrib properties within WD-Application. From where is this

information (URL) derived

where does this information come ? I speaking about the URL string at the

properties tabstrib of WD-Application.

If you create a WD-Application this field will be set automatically . From where is this

coming ?

Yes the URL is created automatically when you create an Application.

Check if you have entered the IP Address and Host Name into Windows host file.

Run->cmd>drivers->etc->hosts-> enter ip address (tab) hostname on the last line.

You can get host name from the URL of the application also:

Double click on the application you can see the URL there in the right pane.
