V.C.,BOM explosion problem in VA21

hello,guru's,

i have problem in variant configuration,while creating quotation in VA23 the V.C. bom of one product X(finish)

is exploded properly with result icon on the top of the screen.but for another product say Y the result icon is not appearing and the bom component is not exploding.

Please give the solution
