Dump BEx query properties in Excel or in Text

Our WebI reports are based on BEx (BICS) connection. We would like to review and analyze the BEx query. What we are trying to do is open BEx query and get the Free Characteristics, Key Figures, and Filters w LOV; we need object Description and Technical Name.

We are currently doing manual process; opening BEx query using BEx Designer and clicking each and every Characterstics, KF, and Filters; then copy/paste in Excel. This is extremely time consuming as we've 200-300 objects in each of our query. We just recently found (now 10% better) out creating WebI report with BEx query and export all objects (column name) in to Excel. This is ok, at least we are quickly getting query object Description but it does not give us Technical name or other details. Really pain :(

Is there any efficient way of recording these objects in Excel or in Text so we can avoid the manual craziness?

We are using BW/BEx 7.4 and WebI 4.2 SP3.
