What is the main difference between SAP CRM UI 2007 and SAP CRM 5.0?

What is the Advantages of the SAP CRM 2007.

SAP CRM 2007 has additional functionalities and features which are not available in 5.0 There are lots of enhancements done on Marketing module. The Framework was modified to include features such as drag and drop. Export to Excel was something that was not available in 5.0 but is in 2007.

The Major difference would be the UI itself. 2007 is built on WEB UI which is better and intutive to use, whereas PCUI on which 5.0 is built was not able fetch good reviews from the customer base.

Hi

The details on the difference can be found in the release notes but here are some of the differences:

-Role based access (You can check business role config in Spro for details)

Navigation bar profile is attached to Business role which has the Logical links/Work-centers/Direct link group and OP mappings.

-BI Client integrated with CRM

-Pricing engine integrated with CRM server

-In-built telephony integration

Product Config can now be done through VMC (No IPC required)

To improve UI performance 'lazy load' can be used so that data is loaded only for requested view.
