When i try to do an internal order settlement i am getting the following message anybody come across with this message? Could anyone provide some help on it please.

Characteristic value D does not exist for characteristic WW004 (Sales Channel)

Message no. KE0C133

Diagnosis

The characteristic "WW004" ("Sales Channel") should be posted to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). When the system checked the entries, it was established that the transferred characteristic value (" D") is not valid in CO-PA.

System Response

The data is not consistent and therefore cannot be transferred to CO-PA.

Procedure

With the function Maintain Characteristic Values, you can add characteristic values to those that are valid.

Hi Nivi,

Go to KES1 and maintain the Value "D" for Characteristic "Sales Channel".

Thanks Srikanth, that was my assumption too, but how can we track why we need 'D' because I don't see any reason that we need to maintain 'D' in the characteristic value.
