Hi Experts,

one customer has run across a SAP delivered table FMAVCT that does not have an

authorization group assigned to it.

What is the authorization group that should be associated with table FMAVCT in ECC6 (SAPKB70013)?"

Thanks for your assistance!

Regards,

Mateus

SAP only uses authorization groups for certain authorization objects,

like for checking the authorizations for FM master data (you may define

your authorization groups for your funds or funds centers).

Perhaps you want to know whether there is an authorization object for

table FMAVCT. Here the answer is No - SAP never checks the authorization

for updating FMAVCT, and for displaying figures from FMAVCT there is no

specific authorization object for FMAVCT.

From a technical point of view it does not make any sense to check the

authorization for the update of FMAVCT (AVC figures would be wrong, if

SAP would do this). Each transaction which displays FMAVCT figures uses

its own authorization concept, for example FMAVCR01 uses the

authorization object for budget addresses.

In case you have created some own report for displaying FMAVCT figures,

then you must use some standard authorization object (like transaction

FMAVCR01 does) or create your own authorization object.
