Controlling Subreport Parameeters

Hi,

I have sub report, which works fine but when it prompts for parameters, it is showing sub report name in the parentheses which i donu2019t want.

I just want to see only parameters u2026.

Is their any way of controlling that...?

(Edit: Re-read question and my answer is probably not what you were after!)

You probably want to link your main report parameters (or some value in the main report) to the subreport's parameters.

Try 'Edit' -> 'Subreport Links' to get you started...

Hi Jaimeu2026 Thanks for you Response,

Iam passing the parameters (For main and Sub reports) While running my main report,

so at that time iam seeing Sub report name like PERID (Subreport.rpt) in the parenthesis in Enter value box.

I donu2019t want to see sub report name, I want see only parameters like PERID in that boxu2026

Can any one help me..

When you refresh a report with subreport the subreport parameters prompts with subreport name in order to distinguish between subreport and main report. If you don't want to show that then try creating same parametr in main report and link the main report parameter with subreport parameter.
