Hi,
I am trying to assign an output type for PO printing to a P.Grp using T.Code MN04.I already assigned it but the output is not getting determined in PO.Where as, if I do the same thing for any other P.Grp. its easily getting determined.
The issue is only with one P.Grp.
Can you please suggest what can be the problem?
Ashish
Hi
Check, if you have created the Output determination using the Txn MN04, If you try to create the same combination again in MN04 it should not allow you. Check the condition Recodr details in MN05 in the second screen enter the Doc. tyep /Purchase orgn/vendor which you have already created and execute you should be able to view the detailsinside if not then the condition is not there.
mean whil how did you create an output type condition record based upon Purchasing Group ? The existing Key combination does not contain any Pur grp. reference but Only Purchase Organisation only
for two of the selections.

Hi,
Generally the condition record created for the combination.Though ypur PO contains the purchase org , if the combination is not maintained for the same in the PO, it will not get defaulted in the output.please check that.

Can you elaborate what are the fields in your output condtion tables? Are all the values in MN04/MN05 the same for all the PGrps? Does your output type happen to be different for the problem PGrp?

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your response.
Actually I have maintained same values in MN04/MN05 for all the PGrps.Basically I wanted to check why it is not happening for the particular P.Grp. so I used the identical details for other P.Grps and found that the output is getting determined for these P.Grp but not for the one I wanted.
Just wandering what can be wrong with this P.Grp.

Hello Ashish,
You may have already checked, but take a look at the PO document to make sure it has all the correct criteria from the condition tables to make sure it fulfills all the requirements. Also, is the output type the same for both PGrps? By the way, are there any release strategies involved?
Regards,
Paul
