now my point is how to check, (at what time they are running MRP in background)

Kumar,
In transaction MDBT, you select the variant and click display scheduling. Or else you can go to SM37, give the Job name if you have or the MRP program name and search.

Dear,
When you create the job then give the scheduling date then its status become released.
Before completing the exeution of the program in which you are calling the job is waiting till the job completes the processing.
And when it become finish then status become Finished.
In MDBT transacton choose the variant & then click the "Display scheduling" tab. Check the status against the date, if it is "Finished". Then choose this row & click results.
Now choose the ABAP List icon under "Type". Here the MRP run result will be displayed.
Hope clear to you.

Dear,
If you are running manually - you can see the data in MD05, Special MRP list data tab page.- this will give the last MRP run date
If you are running in background, then in MDBT transaction, findout the background job on which this material is planned and click on show scheduling...this will give the MRP run date. If there is no data means not schedule it.
Hope clear your doubts.
Regards,
R.Brahmankar

Hi Kumar,
You can excute the MRP in background mode through MD01,MD02 or which ever T-code you are using the menu path Program -> Execute in background .
You can check the result (when it started , Status, Time taken etc) in SM37.
You can also use SM36 to schedule the MRP to run at particular time with the variant required . Do let us now if you need any further information on the same
Thanks
Kaushik

Hi Kumar,
I don't have access to SAP right now .........so will just elucidate the steps with the screens from my memory ..(there may be some deviation )
Execute SM37. Check the check box released , Active , Scheduled & other status for which you are interested ,
If you have executed the program in background with your user ID then put your user ID. If you are not sure then put *.
In the program name put * (if you know the program then put that). Set the from & to date range as today's date . Then press F8.
Do let us know if you need any further information/ face any issue on the same
Thanks
Kaushik

Kumar,
SM37, can be used for multiple purpose.
1. If a Job is scheduled in SM36, you can select the Job of status "Scheduled" and click on the green flag to release before the scheduled time.
2. Within SM37, you can copy any existing job and that you can release(Run).
3. You can check the jobs current status
4. You can display the Spool of the Job which got completed.
5. You can select the job and click steps to display the Variant and Program details used for the Job.
6. You can stop a Job and Also can delete a Job Log or Scheduled Job
Regards,
Prasobh
Dear,
The program is RMMRP000.
In transaction SM37 the status of the background job can be seen.
Here you can check the details of back ground MRP run Details.
Else you can also check in MDBT select the variant and click on schduling.

R.Brahmankar
