Hi,
I had the entry open from my inbox. The same entry was then opened by another sap user to modify. So I received the modified entry in my inbox (at that moment, it showed I received JE 1000000138 twice). I open the modified entry, and I approved it. Then I realize I have the "old version" of the entry still in my inbox, but I cannot delete it from my inbox. as per my needs i want delete the old entry, is it possible? if possible please explain me step by step.
Regards,
Revoori
Click on the respective workitem then Click on Workflow Log->Click on the main workitem or the First one->Goto->Technical Workitem Display->Edit->Change->Logically delete.
I think your problem is a development issue and needs to be fixed by development.
Thanks

Ashok,
If you know the workitem ID from the workflow log then you can delete the workitem permanently using the program RSWWWIDE.
But please note that this is the scenario with an assumption that the workflow is a duplicate entry...

Hi,
Eventhough for the time being somehow you may be able to delete work item from your inbox, it seems as a design issue. Workflow development does not handle the logical deletion of workitem if same object is edited repeatedly.
Hope this has to be tackled by correcting the workflow.

Akshay

Hi Ashok,
Try using the FM SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_DELETE. Pass the necessary parameters and would delete the inbox.
Check the workflow log for the workitem ID that has to be passed to the above FM.
Hope this would solve your issue.
Good luck

Hi,
You can use terminating event on workitem execution.
This terminating event you need to give in for the yask which is getting executed for the workitem.
And if this event get triggered you need to complete your workflow by adding process control so that previous workitem will be deleted.
