WS12300111 in leave request approval

Hi,

We implemented EP 7.0 with ECC 5.0 and we want to use the Leave request iView having assigned a copy of the WS12300111 workflow. I thought it would work just by making the configuration in "Specify Processing Processes for Types of Leave", but it doesn't. The leave request iview displays the confirmation that the request was sent and nothing happens....the only place where something appears to be changed is the Workplace - Sent items, where the started workflow has status "Error". No workitem appears in the UWL, the process doesn't even get to the first step in the workflow.

Hi,

As per your query .......Please find the following steps ....

1. In "Specify Processing Processes for Types of Leave" configuration ....

in "Workflow Template" tick on "Process Request Using Workflow" give the workflow ID

WF ID of New Request 12300111

WF ID of Cancellation Request 12300111

WF ID of Change Request 12300111

2. In User Interface Elements tick on "Display Fields for Next Agent".

3. System Response

Tick on "Requests have to be approved".

Then u201CSAVEu201D .

After this try to raise leave request ,u2026.and check the processing and Let me know .

I've maintained the first step, but I don't know where I have to maintain steps 2 and 3:

It was my misunderstanding, we have slightly differrent options in that screen screen, but I have maintained them already. At the moment we assigned the standard WF (12300111) and it works up to the point when the manager approves the leave request....after activity "Approval process" the workflow stops.

I understood you problem

Ok do one thing you need to run the report "RPTARQPOST" . when you run this report then only system

can do post the data in SAP in infotype 2001 etc..

you can schedule the job for "RPTARQPOST" using tcode "SM37" .

Purpose

You can use this program to post approved leave requests as absences.

Caution

Do not run this program until the RPTARQEMAIL program (Batch Report for Sending E-Mails for Leave Requests) has finished. This ensures that approvers are informed of requests requiring approval and employees' leave that is not subject to approval even if you use the Leave Request application without a workflow.

Features

The program provides the following functions:

You can decide the number of processed requests after which the program updates the database of requests. If the lock table overflows when the program is run, choose a lower value.

You can decide whether leave requests that could not be saved in the absences (2001) infotype for technical reasons should be reconsidered when posted. Select the option Post with Infotype Match if you would like leave requests that have already been set as absences to automatically be shown as posted.

You can choose whether you want the program to issue a detailed log. A simple log is always output.

You can double-click on a line of the log to branch to the RPTARQDBVIEW program (Display Leave Requests (Database of Requests)) to view the database of leave requests.

then you need to run report Rptarqpost to post the leave requests to HR infotypes and status will change to POSTED

Read the reports documentation,it should be scheduled as the backgroud job running every 15 to 20 minutes if you have large number of requests

you need to specify the workflow id WS12300111 for each absence subtypes

Hi alice ,

you can check two areas

1) go to swfvisu and check visualization parameters for task TS12300097 .

2)this would require some work on workflow. go to swdd and maintain agent assignment for ts12300097 as general task .

or go to pftc , select task type - standard task

task - 12300097

go inside , select additional data --> agent assignment --> maintain and select general task .

3) also before you use workflows , check if automatic workflow customizing is maintianed at swu3 or not .
