Error in SNC SMI Scenario - Demand Data is Not Getting Displayed

Hi All SCM SNC APO Members,

For SMI scenario I am sending Stock and Demand data from R/3 to SNC(5.1) System. The Stock data(Safety Sotck, Stock on hand etc) is visible in XML messages but demand is not getting updated in Supplier view in SNC.

What could be the reson behind that and how it will be rectified?

Please let me know which program and which table/keyfigure is responsible and how can i correct this.

I am using standard SAP settings.

Do i need to execute any report to update demand?

Hi SK,

Make the following SPRO settings if it is not there:

Step 1: Goto SPRO--->SAP SCM - Implementation Guide -->

SCM Basis-->

Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages-->

Process Types for Inbound Messages-->

Determine Default Process Types

Checked XML PROACT_I ProductActivityNotification - Inbound should be linked to ICH - Supplier Collaboration.

Step 2: Goto SPRO--->SAP SCM - Implementation Guide -->

SCM Basis-->

Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages-->

Process Types for Inbound Messages-->

Define Sender- and Recipient-Dependent Process Types

Click on new entry enter as follows:

XML Message: PROACT_I ProductActivityNotification

Send. System

Sender

Recipient : <Supplier_location>

Process Type :ICH - Supplier Collaboration

After above setting you should get Stock and demand in Web UI.

Did you check "Assign Inbound XML Messages to Default Process Types" customising under "Process Types for Inbound Messages"?

There PROACT_I ProductActivityNotification - Inbound should be linked to ICH - Supplier Collaboration. IF you have customer collaboration as well and this is already assigned to Responsive Replenishment then you have to step in the next customising where you can specify process type per recipient.

Hi

Just confirm before sending the XML message, whether the supplier code is present angainst the respective demand values. Because if you are using old versions of report like ROEMPROACT then it may happen that vendor code is not populating correctly.

Hi Pravin,

I am Using RSMIPROACT. In SNC, XML Messsage is showing that Demand quantity is availbale for SNC along with stock data. Stock data is getting updated but demand data is not getting updated.

What could be the reason.

We had a similar problem in our system and had to implement a couple of notes to correct. They were

0001080981 Settings for SAP SNC 5.1 <--> SAP ERP integration

0001158216 ProAct inbound processing stops when product is invalid

Hi Santosh

Despite of checking Data(Stock and Demand) to be sent to target system, You need to mention the selection time period for Demand and it should be always greater than the intial stock load date. I hope you are maintaining this Selection Time Periods.
