You can check in the Actions Infotype record ( IT0000 ) for Hire / Rehire begin date.

Hi

In Infotype 41 - Date specification you can record the Dates of the particular employee

PA30 - IT0041 - subtype 11 ( Group Date of Joining )

Hi,

You can also use FM, even through dynamic actions also this can be done.

0001 04 55 P PSYST-MASSN='A1'

0001 04 56 I INS,0041,,,(P0001-BEGDA),(P0001-ENDDA)

0001 04 57 W P0041-DAT01=P0000-BEGDA is joining date.

0001 04 58 W P0041-DAT02=P0000-BEGDA

thanks,

Vasu.

Hi Divya,

You can view the employee entry date via Se16 through table PA 0000 or by using PA30 (IT 0000 & IT 0001) Infotype overview. In both these places you can see not only the entry dates but also the changes in the employee records.

Hope it helps.

Hi!

PA41 is used to change the Entry /leaving date of the employee and this is the best and acceptable in practical.

Hi Divya,

Also try options like IT0000, field name (BEGDA - start date) if (MASSN - Action type) is equal to 10 (10 being the subtype/infogroup for Hiring action in the SAP system of the client u r working with)

Better Check for Functional Module which u have mentioned above.

Its better to use the function module, as that checks the employee first record and from there it will fetch the date.

Where as technical date of entry in 0041, is the one entered by user either manually or through a dynamic action, and there is no guarentee that this infotype will be maintained for all the employee.

Where using function module we would be 100 sure that it will fetch a data
