As this is an internal usage of BPC, it was not documented, as I know.

Hi,

Value of 1 might also land you in errors like"send governor failure" .Pls do check to ensure that 0 as the value in 3 tables

When Source=1 means that a lite optimize is working. If this value staying to 1 more time it is something wrong (maybe a lite has crashed).

Hello,

The Source column is used internally the the product when is doing lite optimize, fulloptimize. Should not be touch. The Source<>0 means data is moving to other fact table.

Hi,

Its on BPC 5.x and on other versions.,

Facttables are the tables where they stored data that is used by OLAP to process the aggregated data.

in BPC there are 3 facttables.

tblFactCubename, tblWBFactCubename, tblFAC2Cubename.

and the columns on each tables are the dimensions on each CUBE.

now, my question is what is the use of the Source Column on the FactTables?

Thanks,

BennieJay
