SAP BO Automation Framework - Import Users SI_ADM_ADD_USERS_TO_USERGROUP

Dear Experts,

I am trying to add/remove BO users using the csv file and the Automation Framework. Text file format of csv import file (it is not possible to share the csv format): test-af-user-import-2.txt

Unfortunately the add/remove user task scenario ends up with status "Partial Success" -> commit error.

Errors:

The property list(s) 'SI_ADM_ADD_USERS_TO_USERGROUP' committed on the object named 'Test1' with id number 741755 contained reference(s) to non-existant object(s) with id number(s) 745498.

You do not have any Concurrent User Licenses to make this user a concurrent user. You have 0 Concurrent User Licenses.

User Group Test1 Properties:

What is si_id 745498 I have no idea. This might be the user I am trying to create.

I have found several notes with similar error using Promotion Management:

2450493

2535804

Do you have any ideas how to solve this issue with SI_ADM_ADD_USERS_TO_USERGROUP?

Thank you in advance,

Vytautas Thienel

There is an issue with the import, when only named user licenses are available. The import is creating concurrent users (as default). Using the import in the CMC (Users and Groups > Manage > Import > User/Group/DBCredential you can just add the user type to the line:

But this is currently not working in Automation Framework. Can you please create an incident.

regards Thomas

Hi,

Yes, it is available and there are enough licences. I have just created the user in group "Test1" using CMC GUI wihtout any issues.

is the group "Test1" available?

also, check your license in CMC (Named Users:, Concurrent Sessions)

Hi, there are 5 License Product Key Codes in CMC. There should be many unused Named users available for All Keys. Concurrent Sessions: - (0)

Column and Row Delimiter

The supported column delimiter is , The row delimiter is ; A column and a row delimiter in an input field separates the data in column and row format. For an example, refer to the CSV data below:

name, cuid, status, id;

Charting, AW4AVT1AUhVAogA6P7OQv9c, success, 6029;

SalesReport, BW3AVT1AUhVAogA743QCDsD, success, 6031;

Here, the comma signifies that name, cuid, status, and id are columns, while semi-colon signifies the end of the row.

Note

If a CSV file is an input for Read Worklist task template, the column delimiter is then , The row delimiter is ; or a new line.

Caution

A value in the CSV data should not contain a comma or a semi-colon.

I have tested it on a test env. (BI 4.2 SP5-P300), and it works as expected.

(Added group "Test1" and user "Testuser", then member of group "Test1")
..
CSV file:

command,group,user,fullname,password,mail,profileName,profileValue
add,Test1,Testuser,AFimport,pass123,user1@test.com,,<br>

..

....

Note: The trial license key I have is not a "Named Users"
