Webi Server Crash

Hi All,

Currently we are working on Business Objects XI 3.1

Our web intelligence report server goes down frequently

We have applied fix pack 1.3 but no success still it goes down twice/thrice in 24hrs.

Can anyone please advice ?

Hi,

Refer the Note #1315027. if this note does not open. Please follow this option:

In Central Management Console go to Servers; Web Intelligence Processing Server. On the Properties page change the "Timeout before Recycling" to 10,000 seconds (maximum value). And see weather its going to work for you.

We don't have R3 deployed yet but I came across a thread in an external forum about some kind of cleanup mechanism in Webi report server that should be increased to avoid it crashing it frequently. You may want to check out the options in CMC for the webi report server and see if you find something there.
