G/L opening balance FM/BAPI

HI experts,

Currently i am working with GL report.

I am looking for a BAPI/FM that can give either opening or closing

balance based to a date ( select-options ).

I managed for look some BAPI/FM but it is all based to period and fiscal year.

I am really looking for a bapi which can give balance base to a date range.
