AD Authentication Error using BOE XI R2 SP4 .NET

After 2 months of working with tech support, this issue has still not been resolved...

On a test box, I loaded .NET and Java versions of BOE XI R2. Tech support finally got the java version to work. 2 days after tech support redeployed the .war files, however, it stopped working. I had my system's guy add the Windows SP so that is was the same as on our production box (which works), since I didn't know what else to do at this point. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application several times, with and without the Java version.

The error was "Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again." Plus, an AD plug-in error when running the AD authentication to add users.

At tech support's request, I uninstalled SP2 and installed SP4 version. After that, I could log on using AD and Enterprise authentication to the CMC and InfoView from the Admin Launchpad, but not with AD authentication directly into InfoView. Tech support had me have my system's AD admin enable DEC on the AD server. After that, no AD logins were allowed. So, I had the AD admin revert back to the original setting and I uninstalled then reinstalled the SP4 .NET version only. I am getting the same error: "Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again." I am able to run the AD authentication to add/remove users successfully (without the plugin error this time). But, cannot login using AD authentication.

There is nothing in the log files. This is running fine on the production box and I see no difference in the setup. I have seen others post the same issue, but all solutions were for the Java version.

Can anyone help??
