Maintaining consumption values seperately

Hi,

Based on the consumption values in the material master I am able to create sales plan by copying from forecast through MC87 for the standard planning type and infostructure S076.

But my requirement is I want to maintain consumption values seperately and the sales plan has to be created through these consumption values and not from the values from the material master.In other words when creating the sales plan by copying thru. forecast it has to consider the values we maintained and not the values from material master.

Please let me know how i can achieve this.

If it is your requirement is that only., there are somany third party forecsting tools are available & take it & write an interface to SAP.

Thanks for the answer.But let me know if we can do the same in SAP without using any external system.

The idea is of creating a new infostructure and new planning type and maintianing consumption values in the infostructure and creating a Z program which will create a sales plan by using the consumption values maintained in the new infostructure.Once the sales plan is created it can be transfer to demand management.

But how can i maintian consumption values in the infostructure.

Please let me know.

you ahve to try this option:

Chck whether any field key figure to new infostructure.

you have to upload through some upload programe like BDC the consumption values.

But this will become hectic job.

The consumption values will be stored in the MVER table.But is there any infostructure where these values are stored?

there no infostructure that stores the consumption values.

you have to create info structure & follow the procedure I have given.
