controlling area

Hi, Experts,

While creating controlling area I am getting following error.

"message no. TK455

Diagnosis

The value "12 " was entered in the field "REICHWEITE".

This is not possible because it is a numeric field where only numbers may be entered.

The length of the field is 000003.

System response

The entry was not accepted.

Procedure

Enter only numeric values in this field.

Please help me out to fix this problem

The error usually comes due to inconsistency in the table TNIW5. Please check OSS notes 547875 and 647590. You might have to delete entries in this table with 12.

Hi Prasanna,

It looks like you have a "space" after the number 12. Please check and remove it.
