LDAP Configuration Installation

Hi i'm trying to setup LDAP authentication on a xi 3.1 installation using the ldap configuration wizard in the cmc.

when i have completed all steps the wizard says "An internal error has occured in the secLdap plugin" is there any logging or other information regarding this issue?

My installation of xi 3.1 is on a redhat 5.3 server and it is a windows active directory server i'm trying to connect to.

I have specified the following through the wizard;

ldap host: someserver.sismo.local:389

ldap server type: Microsoft active directory application server

base ldap distinguished name: ou=some company, dc=sismo, dc=local (from the ad server)

ldap server administration credentials: cn=webi password:******

ldap referral credentials:""

referral hops:0

no ssl

no sso

any ideas?
