Mapping error not showing up in alerts.

Hi Guys,

I have done alerts configuration and email alerts are getting generated for all kinds of exceptions but except for mapping errors. Please could somebody throw some light on this issue. The scenario is a file to jdbc scenario.

Please note: That under the condition where did the error occur , i have already chosen "No restriction"

Thanks it worked on its own without me doing anything. Actually i noticed that application errors take a while to trigger the reason why and how i will find out as and when i get time.

Hi,

In RWB-->Alert Configurations--->where did error occur

will be there . I think you checked Adapter Engine please check the radio button of NoRestrictions.

If you checked Adapter Engine it will not send the Message Mapping Errors.

Ok. If you already checked it as NoRestrictions check the entries in the ALRTCATDEF

Check what entries in alrcatdef and under what tab.

In Alert Catageory--->un clasified are u able to see this

MAPPINGALERT Alert for the errors occured during mapping

Check under "LONG&SHORT TEXT " tab. There you can add entries which shows message in the alert mail. here are more details
