Cannot delete ODS because of references...

Hi,

I'm trying to delete an ODS, which also is used under a Multiprovider but i get an error like:

Using DataStore Object ZPA_O007:

Still used in MultiProvider ZPA_M003 (Used by)

DataStore Object ZPA_O007 cannot be deleted because of references

PS: Update rules under the ODS has been deleted succesfully, but ODS itself couldn't.

Hi,

The DSO you are using is used in the MultiProvider ZPA_M003.

First change the Multiprovider, remove the DSO from it and activate it.

Now try deleting the DSO.

Hi Dogan,

You can use the SAP note 1305595 to find exactly where the master data is used in the infoprovider.

Hi,

First remove the ODS from the Multiprovider and then try deleting... SInce ODS objects are still linked to the multiprovider it will not allow you to delete the ODS.

Hi Dogan,

First Remove the DSO from the all the places whereever it is used, only then it is possible to delete the DSO.

When you are in the display mode of the DSO , you have a tab which states 'Where used list ' .After getting the where used list ,see in which all data providers your DSO is used and remove it from all of them .
