Multiple work items for PO WF

Hi,

We have upgraded to service pack EHP4 and after upgrading suddenly we encoutered that there are two workflows triggered for a single PO. I have checked the workflow trace and found that there are two events getting generated due to which these two workflows are there. Can you please suggest how we can resolve the issue?

Regards,

Is it the same event getting triggered twice or different event. If it is the same event getting triggered twice I wil suggest the Release code should be different for both the event.

Thanks

Thanks Arghadip, what exactly the release code should be? I can see only one entry in the release strategy. Do we have anything single and parallel release startegy? Moreover I have already checked in swetypv and there is only one entry, also it is the same event that is triggered and even at the same time.

Also please suggest how can i can check that there are different release code from the events.

In the Release Strategy tab of the PO you will find the number of release codes. Also you will find the release code in the SWEL entries and even in the Workflow Container element.

Hi ,

check in swetypv transaction if duplicate entries are there. if there , deactivate the duplicate entry.

Try to use start conditions on the workflow to control the workflow and event combination which needs to be started.

Hi, event is maintained correctly and this is the reason the workflow has triggered fine.

Hi,

If you dont want to change the default settings in the change document then start condition is better option for the particular workflow you are interested in.

Hi,

You can maintain events for change document in SWEC transaction using the the tables CDHDR & CDPOS for the required workflow to trigger.
