Report monitor

Hi

I am looking for a tool or report to monitor the reports which have been run, which are being run currently, and which are scheduled to run, in infoview. Does anyone know if such a report exists, or where this info can be obtained/monitored from?

You can check the scheduled report information through administration launchpad.

Thanks this is very useful. Is there any way of monitoring across ALL users though? Or a report which is auto-generated which gives all data?

Hi,

Yes, there is a tool through which you can monitor the reports which are running or scheduled to run.

1) Please open admin launchpad

2) Select Instance Manager

3) Login as administrator

4) Under search put the user name and type of instance you are looking for like failed, sucess, Paused etc.

Run the query you will get your desired result.

Thanks, and yes I saw this, but the instance manager doesn't monitor across ALL users. Isn't there some tool to monitor what is happening in the system, and not the user?

If you have auditing enabled you can capture what reports are being used and by whom

Thanks, but as far as I can see, auditing is only possbile on the deski job server, and not the deski report server. Also, it doesn't audit what is currently running does it? And I don't really understand how to read the file (which is empty). Help pls!
