I have problem with sap installation with sqlserver

I am trying to install SAP ECC 6.0 IDES and getting this following error i have given full rights to all user.

Can any one help me to complete my installation.

It seems that the share was not properly created - check that.

Thanks for reply i check with authorization but i give full access to all user.but whn i write this path in run and in tht folder whn i double click on folder it gives error tht network not accessible ..so wat can i do now.

It's not a problem of filesystem permissions but of the SHARE, please check if the share exists.

I suggest you get familiar with Windows (no offense)...

To access a directory using an UNC path the directory to be accessed must be shared. If that share is not existing the system can't connect.

Right click on "My computer" - choose "manage" and check the shares section.

If it would be shared correctly, then you wouldn't get that error message.

The saploc and sapmnt shares are missing.

Since you apparently have no idea how to create those manually I suggest you uninstall the system (using sapinst), reboot and start over. Everything else would be too complicated to explain here.

thanks for ur support i started installation from scratch and now import abap step getting error its showing so jobs running and it takes too many time i wait for 8 to 10 hrs..so how could i solved this error..

Which "error is showing"?

An ERP system is huge, it is not uncommon that it needs so much time.

I am facing the same error for my cluster installation.

I am preparing a production ECC6 system on windows 2008 with sql 2005 which are already clustered

I am facing error is ASCS installation phase where it says unable to create saploc share access denied then if i retry it the error message says the name has already been shared.

can i have your suggestion on this issue

Is UAC disabled on Windows 2008?
