periodic billing

Hello friends,

I have a service contract started from 01.01.2009 and going to end on 31.12.2009. Periodic billing plan is activated for this. If i check the billing plans at item level i can see 12 billing plans for 12 months.

IF I go and add one more date in the billing plan manually like 01.01.2010 to 31.01.2010 , system accepts it and able to bill for that amount also. My problem here is even after the contract end date i am able to add billing plans manually in the system.

Is there any way to stop this scenario. that means system should not allow me to add any manual billing plans after the contract end date.
