SAP office document("sap email") forwarding options

Hi Gurus,

I'm wondering if SAP has other options to forward SAP office document(email) to the external email system rather than the options below:

1. 'Send to home addresses of users' in SO16.

2. Auto-forwarding in Business Workplace by each user.

We don't use Business Workplace, and we'd like to forward only certain selected emails like trip/time entry rejection notification or emails from workflows, not all of emails. We are forwarding work items using extended notification, though.

We are using ECC 6.0.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you require to forward few notification mails .........without using the belwo 2 options then you can create task and put piece of code to forward it to required users.

In my knowledge there is no other way .................of doing it.

I wanted to keep the functionality of sending notifications which are already included in some transactions like trip/time sheet entry, but it doesn't seem that there is a way to do without customizing programs when you don't want to forward all emails. Thanks again!

I Understood Right, you want the email notification to send to Respective Users for certain workitem, but other workitem you dont want to send. If yes, tell via std. program you can achieve.

With out using this you want to forward the text mail right. It not possible. For you're Scenario through workflow you can send. In the workflow you have determine the person to whom you want to send, then use the send mail step or mail sending program to send the email.
