ELM: BP Grouping according to Origin of List

Hi,

My client needs to define the grouping of the BP created from external list according to the origin of the list in trx. CRMD_MKTLIST (Maintain Address List).

Example:

Origin A -> BP of the list are created with grouping ZAAA

Origin B -> BP of the list are created with grouping ZBBB.

How can a solve this problem?

You can use this function module to add group into your BP.

BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD

in that importing parameter is having BAPIBUS1006_HEAD structure in that u have field callead BU_GROUP .

could you send me some more information, please.

I supose we shoud create a Z of the function module BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD and we add BAPIBUS1006_HEAD-BU_GROUP as import parameter.

Is this right?

Where do we replace the new function module for the standard one?

You can go to SE37 and create a z function group and than copy the existing function module. Then change the function module as per your requirement and activate function module and function group. By this way you can do use this function module.
