Hi Guru's,

=> i am working on interfaces activities. Interfaces are related to non sap to sap. we are getting data in SAP throguh FTP as well as IDOC's. if their is any interface issues comes or fails, what are thing we needs to cosider while analysing the ticket.

=> if thier is any background job failed, what are things we need to consider while analysing the ticket.

Hi,

For analysing the IDoc when the IDoc fails,

a. Go to WE02, put the IDoc number and Check the status

b. Status normally gives you the details. For Eg:- "Material not specific sales org not found", Customer not created for sales org, dbr chn, Division etc. [For incoming IDoc on orders]

Based on this, you can check the customer or the material. If both are fine, then check TCode VOE4 for conversion. If that is also fine, then ask the abaper to check the funtion module.

For the interface, Abaper should be albe to help you.

For Batch jobs... it is important that you go and check SM37 with the job details.... In the details you can check why the job has failed. It normally gives a message based on which you can ask the ABAper to check or perhaps you yourself can make the batch job run...
