Hello,
we tried to use Old Purchase Order and Templates for creating a shopping cart related to catalog items
System gives warnning message
"originally from catalog. Price and date may not be current "
Do we have any provision to reflect the currenct pricing related to catalog items while using the Old Purchase Order and Templates functionality .
Please suggest.
Hello

The warning is posted to indicate the difference in value of the old -v- new products. If validation is active, the application will transfer the current price of the item from the catalog with little required configuration or Development?
You should ensure that in catalog customizing from the required catalog the flag is set for 'Validate Product Data from SAP Enterprise Buyer' and that the catalog used is compliant for the validation process. All SAP CCM/SRM-MDM catalog will be compliant with the requirements of validation.
Hope this helps.

This is standard system behavior.System makes a call to external system to fetch data from catalog ,if data is changed in external system, you have no way to know those details and that is the reason they have put this message in shopping cart application.
You can make a call to Catalog and can update the values if it is changed but that will need a lot of development effort.
