How to Delete a Query View from within a Web Template

Hi All,

Is it possible to issue a command via a button in a web template just like the save view to delete a view ?

Thanks

Craig

    Hi,

If you no longer require query views, delete them in the open dialog of the BEx Analyzer:

    1. In the open dialog, choose Query View as the type.

    2. Choose Delete in the upper right area of the dialog box.

You cannot delete query views in the BEx Web Analyzer.

    Check the below link :

Query views can be deleted in two ways :

    A. the clean way : Delete them from BEX...

    B. The dirty way - delete the table entries - but then the view would still show up in BEX and it cannot be executed - makes the end users confused..

What you could do is have a link to a BSP page or an RFC enabled FM which does the deletion from the backend based on parameters passed from the command button.

      Hi Craig,

I had to delete the Saved Views in all Dev, QA and Prod system and I managed to delete them from the table: RSZWVIEW (in debug mode). The Views will also be deleted from the Portal as well. Please let me know.
