After the production order being confirmed, can production line still staging materail from warehouse to PSA with referende to the same order?

Hello,

You can issue materials to the production order, after production order has status final confirmation or TECO.

But you can't stage the material with reference to production order once final confirmation is done, because while doing final confirmation , it would clear reservations.

To issue material after final confirmation, transfer material by MB1B t.code to staging area from warehouse, then issue material to the production order by t.code MB1A.

Hi Wang,

You can do GI as well as GR to the Production order till you have put the status as either closed, locked, Technicallu complete. If you do extra GI and confirmation for the PO then there will be cost variance getting build up against the Order.

Do you mean after final confirmation in co11n, the reservation vill be clear? And go to co03 check the components, the final issue indicator will be flaged. That means on materail staging can be done.

If I partially confirm the PO, system will calulate and allow me to staging the left material?

If you refer to the creation of new transfer requirements and order from the warehouse (material staging), this is normally related to the operation where the material is to be consumed; if the operation is already confirmed, you could not assign a a new component to a confirmed operation .

But you should clarify your requirement.

Your question is not clear, to my understanding you are asking whether you can perform GI for an Order, after Final Confirmation. If that was your question, the answer is YES, in standard SAP there is no check between confirmation and goods movement.

Right now I don't have SAP in front of me .............but logically it should allow till the time the settlement is not done & order is not closed

Do you mean to say that can the GR be done on the order which is already confirmed with CO11N? or the confirmation more than the order quantity.

GR & confirmation are two separate processes.

But GR as well as confirmation can be done more than the order quantity.

You can have extra GR against the order with T code MB31.

For confirmation more than the order quantity, you need to do settings in confirmation parameters in OPK4. If you set over & underdelivery toleranceis not checked in 'Generally valid setting' tab page.

If you do this then it will enable you to do confirmation more than the order quantity.
