Hi All,

I just noticed this checkbox "legally effective" in the configuration of the dunning strategies.

What is the meaning of this Checkbox? Does it have Impact on follow-up processes or on forms .... or whatever?

Thanks a lot for your help?

Best Regards, Peter

Hi Annapurna,

thanks a lot! So I know that it is "only" about template selection.

Hello Peter,

Legally effective indicates which template to pick up, like Reminder letter or Dunning Letter in the form template.
Customer can produce the letter in court as a legal document to show the court that the company had indeed warned the customer.

You can check the legal effectiveness of dunning documents for dunning strategy and the applied Form Template Selection in the below steps:

1.Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2.Select the Form Template Selection view.
3.Choose from list Show Rules For, select Dunning Letter.
4.Observe the definitions and sequence for rules relating to Dunning Levels and Dunning Strategy.

You can see here, which template is drawn by the system in the table and if the Dunning Notice Legally Effective is set.

Hope this answers your query.

Best Regards,

Annapurna
