problem with Adobe forms layout

I am trying to create a PDF form using SFP transaction.

When I switch to 'Layout' tab it is giving error like 'Could not start layout designer(see the long text)'

I guess the ADS services are not registerd in my system.

But where I need to check for this?

additional info: I am using SAP ECC 6.0 latest version

Hi Chitra,

The Basic prerequist for the Adobe Forms is that you should have the Adobe Live Cycle designer Installed on Your Local Machine,i.e on the system where you are working.

Once the Live cycle desiner is installed Check for the ADS connection this will be done by the BASIS team.

Now can work on the Adobe forms.

Hi

The prerequisite for adobe forms should be

a) Adobe reader 6.0 + preferably

b) Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1

Adobe LiveCycle Designer is used to define or create your form layout and Adobe reader is used to view the form layout in PDF format.

Hi,

Right now which you are getting the error is not related to ADS. First you install the Adobe disinger in your system. Then when u click on the layout desinger it will open the PDF desinger

Hi!

The Adobeform is not configured on your system.....download the adobeform and then try running the layout it works.

Check that it is properly installed b'coz if not then it gives problem in activationa s the form will not get activated and the ADS error comes there then....
