on the fly currency conversion

can we do only fly currency conversion in BO like we can so it in BEX?

Hi,

you can use currency variables in the BI query and that is being used in the BusinessObjects tools.

A direct conversion without variables like the BEx Analyzer is doing is not possible at this point of time

Hi,

XI 3.1 is an update on top of XI 3.0. when it is a new project you should use the latest version.

Hi,

3.1 is the most actual version containing improvements/corrections regarding the integration of BOBJ with SAP. I would recommend to use the latest version (including the related fix packs).

Please keep in mind that some of the corrections included in the Fix Packs require also an upgrade (eg. EHP1) on the SAP BW side.

yes its a new project,my company folks are considering XI 3.0, though not sure about 3.1.

wonder why? could be the SAP BW dependencies.

Hi,

As far as i know in BOE you can convert from any currency to euro and vice versa(By creating report variable).
