PLM- QM- user status

HI,

Friends my am planning to create a user status for inspection lot so when GR happence for the material with ref to PO then generated lot will have user status such as 1)yes. 2) No. if no is selected then user can not clear the UD.

For this have created status profile ,selction profile,authorization key . for QM inspection lot & assigned with object type insp with /insp w/o chars. i am now able to see those & can actually use them in QA02 in change mode of insp.lot where i can set them manually in chage mode & work fine but i need to populate the same automatically when the inspection lot gets generated through GR. presently it is manual happening for each lot.

can any one suggest me how to populate that status profile in the inspection lot automatically. i definately know that field ANW_STATUS is missing ( which i fill manuallyfor each lot). there is some assignment that status to be assigned for inspection type. i also done that i have assigned to type 01. still the isuue is not resolved.

hi

what do you mean by populating automatically ,usually the status profile is copied to the inspection lot automatically with the status intial which you specified in the IMG settings .if you want to change the user status you have to manually change it

populating automatically means when i create insp lot through po then while results recording i must be able to see the status.

now the issue is resolved i furgot to mark the status profile for thr inspection type po.
