Where can we maintain Passport information of an employee.

Person ID, I know, you can maintain NRIC info here.

You can use the infotype 94 ( RESIDENCY STATUS),

Can enhance the infotype as per your convinience.

0185 is Person ID infotye, that I mentioned. If you are maintaining Pink NRIC then, you can not maintain passport info there

Hi Vijay!!

We have to maintain the PINK/Blue NRIC number in 0185, and passport details we can maintain with different subtype, already passport subtype is there, additionally if do you want to maintain visa details, just copy the subtype form passport then change the text.

Singapore PINK NRIC numbers starts with "S" series, this number we need maintain in 0186, 0179 infotype also, dont change the NRIC number.

I want to one more clarification, Are you maintaining the PR or CPF in 0186.

I dont know much about infotype 186. By default if employee has singapore pink or blue NRIC in 'hiring action' then 01 CPF comes. I just save it. Am i true?

Is this a system restriction? I do not believe there is anything preventing you from maintaining Passport as well as Pink NRIC at the same time.

As suggested by several people on this list, IT 0185 Personal IDs is the way to go. Please let us know why you do not think this is a good idea?

Hi,

That's correct. That is automatic procedure, if you enter details in 0185, when we are saving the entry automatically system will open 0186 IT screen, at same to 0179IT also.

What about PR? How did you maintain if an employee has 1 or 2 year PR for singapore.

If an employee has above 2 years we need to maintain the CPF in 0186IT. Otherwise system will calculate the CPF for all employees same rates.

You tell me Devi, how can i maintain employees that are on PR. Because there is no subtype as PR. Do i maintain like this 'employees having salary >2500 etc (sub type) of IT 186 etc. Am i right Devi.

You tell me what to do?
