Filters and table

Hi

I have an Excel file with lots of rows. I wanna set a filter to select which rows to show in a table. These rows to show in table could be more than 3, for example. But if I set a filter and a table, I always get a table that shows only the first row, not all the rows (for example 3).

I am using Xclesius Engage 2008.

Hi Chandra,

Filter cannot insert multi-rows to destination.

If you want to insert multi-rows, you could use other selectors to filter data by "Filtered Rows" type.

Does the display data range for the table cover the largest possible range the filter would bring back?

The range is variable, not fixed.So it could be the largest possible range. Is there a solution for this?

You need to fix the display data for the table to be the largest range possible. You cannot have a dynamic range for the component.

Here is the scenario that i am using.

i have a filter component in xcelsius. when i click on any value in the filter component , the corresponding rows for that value have to be displayed in a table.

Filter -- A1----> Click on

---

>Table-> A1B1

A2 A1B2

A3 A1B3

I used a combo box with the filtered rows insertion to get this effect. It doesn't look like you can do the same thing with a filter control, however.
