Detailed Scheduling Planning Board- Campaign Planning function

Hello Experts,

Can you please help me with the settings needed.

I am able to see the campaign planning icon in the SPRO, but in the DS planning board this particular icon is not added, business requirement is to create a campaign by clicking this icon.

We are able to create the new campaign through menu.

Hi Kiran,

If I have understood you correctly, you are currently creating campaigns using the Tcode /sapapo/pcmt and you want to create the campaigns in the DS board.

If that is the case then I assume that you have already done the below 2 prequisites:

1. Create Campaign Profile for the poducts from SPRO

2. Mark the Resources Campaign Relevant

Now when you enter the DS board, Firstly Select SAP_PCM as the OVERALL Profile. Put in your selection as per your requirements and execute the DS board.

Once Inside, You should be able to see the Resources which are marked as campaign relevant. If you have not already taken a Heuristic/Planning run then please take one before going for Campaign building.

Select the Resources on which you want to build camapigns (Pls note that Campaign Planning is possible on Resource Selection ONLY). Now follow the below Path:

Function--->Heuristics--

---

>Create Production Campaigns.

Execute and you shall see Campaigns with different colors (as you have defined in Campaign Profile) on your DS Board.

You can further schedule these campaigns using Optimiser etc.

we have already created campaign planning profile, and also made the resources for campaign planning relevant.

Just to restate the problem,

we are able to perform the planning using menu

but there is a specific icon to create campaigns in DS Planning board, user wants this feature instead of going to the above mentioned menu path.

Do you have any idea how to add this icon to the DS Planning board tool bar.

Hi Kiran,

It comes as a part of the standard feature in DS board.

However, these tabs appear only if you specifically choose the SAP_PCM overall profile or any other variant of the same. It does not appear for other standard SAP overall profiles.

There is a small arrow at the right corner of the toolbar just above the DS board. Click this and you may find all campaign relevant tabs appear.

Pls revert if you are still not able to see the tabs.
