problem in import adaptive RFC

Hi,

I am trying to import a simple RFC using Import adaptive RFC model.

There is no problem in the RFC execution, since i have tested it.

Problem is output is not getting displayed. The output field is blank.

Note:

RFC while importing, is in warning state(yellow triangle). But no error or warning in back-end.

Please let me know what is the mistake.

Thanks & Regards,

Krish.

Make sure you have done each of the following steps :

1.Created a (Adaptive) RFC model alongwith approproate JCO connections.

2.Added the model in the Used model section of the

3.Done "Apply Template" to the wedynpro component controller

4.Mapped the model node in the wedynpro component controller to the view (this is not the best way to do it , you shud ideally create a value node )

5.Mapped the text/value property of the Output field to the appropraite context attricute.

If u have followed all the above steps and are still not getting the output, then just debug and see the size of the model node that is returned after the model is executed

    • Hi Krish,

Are you displaying the right node on the screen?

For a table you have 2 nodes created, you need to display the node in the output-folder.

Try to add an external breakpoint in the function module and check your in and output parameters.

    Hi Krish,

Please verify if the output field (usually a table - dataSource property) has been properly binded to the result set (Output node) returned by RFC execution.

You can also refer tutorial & ensure that you have not missed anything.

    HI

check the size of the output node , and try with external debugging the application

may be this could even help in the best way or if you are setting any data to the RFC check

try to hard code the data and execute the RFC .
