PPDS Alert Notification via Email

Hello Experts,

We have a client requirement to send PPDS alert notifications via emails to users.

We have set up a Alert notification profile in the Alert notification Engine in /sapapo/amon1, with recipient type as “Channel” and defined the email id. But we do not receive any alert notification mails when we run “Send Alert Notification” program /SCMB/ANOTPULL. The program runs successfully and the log messages says “Start/End of alert notification for application AMON”, but there is no entry under Outbound Send Requests in SCOT hence we can say that there weren’t any mails triggered from SAP.

There is a gateway already in place between SAP and the email server & a node is also setup for the email addresses in SCOT.

Please let me know, if there is any more setup required in order to receive notification mails.
