BO vs BEX

Hello Gurus,

How different is BO from BEX ?

I heard that BO presentation is very good compared to BEX, is this the only difference or are there any functionalities that are different. I mean are there any reports that cannot be achived in BEX can be achived in BO easily ??

if NO and persentaion is the only thing thats different then why did SAP buy BO, it could have easily enhanced BEX itself.

Can anyone please provide me with the answer.

I would suggest you start with looking at the integration roadmap:

because a comparison is not just about BusinessExplorer vs BusinessObjects. It really depends on what type of data visualization or reporting you trying to achieve.

I mean something which cannot be Visualized by BEX can be visualized with BO?? I have no clue on this, so please provide me with an example.

Hi,

I was referring to the different types of reporting and data visualization. the tool that should leverage really depends on the type of analytics and reporting you want to offer. take a look at the report - there are examples included
