Reservations exceeding the batch qty??

Hi Gurus,

When i checked the reservations for the production order for a material the reservations for that material is happening from the batch which is already totally reserved.

we have stock in the next batche and we want to take the reservation from the available unreserved batch.

Please help to find the root cause.

Thank you.

    Hi,

To avoid this problem there is a configuration available in batch management. There is a overallocation allowed tick mark is there. Using that you can control this problem.

    Hi,

Take a look in to your Scope of Availiability check in OPJJ.Select your combination of checking rule (which you have maintain in your Checking Control OPJK) and checking group (maintain in material master MRP3).I guess You have not include Reservations for availability check.Check it and if not included then activate the check box for Include Reservation and then perform availability check in your orders.

    Regards,
