PERNR not picked up when starting ASR_PERSONNEL_FILE as employee

Hi all,

We have ECC 6.0 Ehp 3 / EP 7.0 SPS15 / ESS 603.2 and we're trying to set up WD ABAP based DPF (Digital Personnel Files) in ESS environment.

As it seems, the application is not picking up the pernr sent from the Homepage Framework / Floorplan manager. From the HR Admin BP it seems this should work "out of the box", but it doesn't. Any tips on what to do?

We have followed note 996889 in order to view coworkers' personnel file as a manager and that works fine.

Iview properties:

Best Regards,

Hans Petter Bjørn

For some reason, the service did not include the requried ABAP proxy class. After inputting it into the HPFW service, it started working. The proxy class makes sure to retrieve the employee number and put it into the memory space ESS01 that you input as a parameter (PERNR_MEM_ID = ESS01). Without the WD ABAP application does not know the current user's employee number.
