Index created using KPro is not searchable and without a queue

Hi Gurus,

While creating any index using KPro (NW 7.0 SP 16) on Trex 7.0 I observed that index doesn't use queue server and are not searchable, however the text mining flag is set in Index parameters (in tab "Index Admin" in transaction TREXADMIN).

For this reason I don't see any new queue getting created for this new index and hence I am not able to look up any documents it may have in any status (like indexing, optimizing, preprocessed etc) from the "Queue Administration" tab.

Is this a usual behaviour?

Also the documents are not getting indexed, in the Index landscape tab I see the "Indexer" and "searcher" column values as "master,1". I guess this means that 1 document belongs to this index.

I am just trying to index one simple plain text file with few words however with no success. The total size of text file is 4KB.

Monitoring is done using transaction TREXADMIN in a non portal environment.

Thanks & Regards, Ankur
