User exit in Quality management.

Dear All,

If I activate the inspection type 08 in the material master, then if any material movement happens ( 311 mvmt type) then a inspection lot get generated. Can the inspection lot triggers in a particular storage location only. Means material is using all over the plant and transferred within the all store location but I want inspection lot triggers only when it transfers to a particular location. Is any user exit available in the system.

Hi,

I would suggest you create a copy of movement type 311 & make this movement type active for quality in OMJJ. Activate inspection type '08' in the material master.

Use MIGO to transfer post between s-loc to s-loc using mvt type 311 & during saving trigger the exit which checks the storage location & for the specific storage location change the mvt type from 311 to the copy of 311 (for which quality is active). Standard system takes care of the inspection lot triggering.
