unable to connect to MDM repository

Hi,

when I try to edit MDM workflows with the MDM Data Manager, i get the error message "unable to connect to MDM repository". The server version is 5.5 SP 6 (5.5.63.71) and the Data Manager version is 5.5.63.87.

Anyone got any help?

Thanks and Regards

    Hi,

It is mandatory to have the MDM Server and GUI Clients of same version even the patch level matters.

Still you can try reloading of Repository but i dont think this will be helpful.

    Hi Jan,

Check to see if you are facing this error only when editing the workflows or while performing other actions as well.

    - Try Restarting your MDM server and check again.

    - Verify you are using the right version of the Workflow executable and Visio.

    - If this dosent work then try checking and repairing your repository and then loading it with Update indices.

    Hope It Helped

    Thanks & Regards

    Hello,

sry for this late answer and thank you for yours. It was a problem of different patch levels indeed. But not the level of the Data Manager, but the level of the workflow engine caused the error.

    Problem solved.

    Thank you very much.

    Regards,

    Jan
