BO XI R2: replacing database server

Below is our production two-tier BO XI R2 architecture:

Build Date: 2006/08/31 05:34:44

Build Number: 608

Product Version: 11.5.7.608

Database Name: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options

Auditing: Disabled

We are replacing our database server with new hardware. The only other changes on the new hardware is the server name (of course) and a minor upgrade to Oracle v10.2.0.4. All other aspects of the new environment remain the same, including the Oracle DB instance name. All Oracle data files have also been migrated to the new database.

When the "switch" is made to the new DB server, it appears that the only changes that need to be made is to edit the local tnsnames.ora file on the BO app servers (we have a cluster) to reference the new DB server. Am I missing any other critical steps? For example, is it necessary to execute any re-initialization scripts, such as cmsdbsetup.sh?

Thanks for your help.
